We are pleased to introduce a faster and more convenient way to pay your Smartweb invoices by bank transfer.
Bank Transfer – Instant Confirmation
With our new automated bank-transfer payment option, you no longer need to wait for manual payment confirmation or routinely send us your payment receipt after making a transfer.
Your payment can now be confirmed automatically and your invoice marked Paid once your bank transfer is successfully received.
How It Works
- Log in to your Smartweb Client Area.
- Open the invoice you wish to pay.
- Select Bank Transfer – Instant Confirmation as your payment method.
- Click Pay by Bank Transfer.
- You will be securely redirected to Paystack.
- Paystack will display a temporary bank account number and the exact amount you need to transfer.
- Transfer the exact amount displayed to the account provided.
- Once the transfer is received successfully, Paystack will confirm the payment automatically and your Smartweb invoice will be marked Paid.
Important Information
Always transfer the exact amount displayed by Paystack.
The amount displayed may include the applicable Paystack transaction fee and may therefore be slightly higher than the original Smartweb invoice amount.
For example:
Smartweb Invoice: ₦700.00
Paystack Fee: ₦10.66
Amount to Transfer: ₦710.66
In this example, you should transfer ₦710.66, not ₦700.00.
Temporary Bank Account
Please note that the bank account generated by Paystack is temporary and is created specifically for that payment.
Do not save or reuse the temporary account number for another invoice or future payment.
If the temporary account expires before you complete your transfer, simply return to your Smartweb invoice and start the Bank Transfer – Instant Confirmation process again to generate a new payment session.
No More Waiting for Manual Confirmation
Once your transfer is successfully confirmed:
Bank Transfer → Automatic Confirmation → Invoice Marked Paid
You normally do not need to send us a payment receipt or contact our support team to request payment confirmation.
