We are excited to announce that Smartweb now supports cPanel Browser Terminal and SSH Access for eligible shared hosting customers, giving developers and website owners greater flexibility to manage their hosting environments.
With these features, you can execute Linux commands, manage website files, deploy applications and perform development tasks directly within your hosting account.
What's New?
1. cPanel Browser Terminal
Access a Linux command-line interface directly from your cPanel dashboard without installing additional software.
How to access it:

Log in to your Smartweb cPanel account.

Navigate to Advanced → Terminal, or search for Terminal.

Open Terminal and start executing commands.
2. SSH Access
Prefer working from your computer? You can securely connect to your hosting account using an SSH client such as PuTTY, Windows Terminal or macOS Terminal.
How to get started:

Log in to cPanel.

Navigate to SSH Access → Manage SSH Keys.

Generate or import your SSH public key and authorize it.

Connect using your SSH client and server credentials.
